Hi there- I’m Jules! I'm a redhead from New York with a love for fashion that's as bold as my hair.
I grew up just a train ride away from Manhattan — constantly finding excuses to wander the city, whether it was catching a Broadway show, visiting my mom at work, or just people-watching on the ever-fascinating, bustling streets of New York. I was mesmerized by the mix of styles I saw: the fearless, the vintage, the effortlessly cool. That's where I learned that fashion isn't just about following trends, it's about telling your story.
I've always stood out (thanks to my naturally different hair), but fashion taught me to own it. To see individuality as something to celebrate, not hide.
Before I ever realized fashion would become my career, I was already that friend — you know, the one everyone texted, "Should I buy this?" or "Can I borrow something cute to wear?" My closet has always been a revolving door, and I take it as the ultimate compliment that my friends love my style as much as I do!
I've always had a knack for making things look good, whether it was styling a basic tee into an outfit moment or turning my childhood bedroom into a mini business headquarters. In middle school, my best friend and I ran an Instagram account called JM Trends, where we predicted fashion trends for the average 13-year-old girl before "trend forecasting" was even a thing. From there came my sticker shop, my jewelry line, and countless creative projects that fueled my love for retail. My mom started calling me "her little entrepreneur," and honestly, I've been living up to it ever since.
Now, I'm studying Retail Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, turning that lifelong love of creativity, commerce, and individuality into a career. I find inspiration everywhere: in NYC's eclectic energy, in thrift shops filled with hidden gems, and in the thrill of styling something unexpected.
You'll usually find me thrifting long-lost treasures, hunting estate sales, or deep in a Pinterest spiral, dreaming up my next outfit idea. Most of my wardrobe has a story: from a 1970s $5 vintage jacket to something I stitched together after a late-night fashion-magazine binge.
This blog is my corner of the internet where I share my love for style, creativity, and self-expression, all while figuring out what it really means to build a career in retail. Expect outfit inspiration, a peek into my entrepreneurial journey, hand-sewn projects, trend prediction, and anything and everything fashion!
Because in my world, fashion isn't just what you wear — it's the story behind it!
